Mit „Räuberhände“ hat Regisseur Ilker Çatak den Erfolgsroman von Finn-Ole Heinrich verfilmt. Das Buch avancierte nach seiner Erstveröffentlichung 2007 zum Beststeller, gilt heute in vielen deutschen Schulen als Pflichtlektüre und wurde in seiner Bühnenfassung am Hamburger Thalia Theater bereits über 100 mal aufgeführt. Jetzt ist daraus ein gelungener Coming-of-Age-Film gedreht. Darin überzeugen…

We get a first glace of several of the mentors, including Festus Creed (played by Max Raphael, Pliny Harrington (played by Ayomide Adegun), Lysistrata Vickers (played by Zoe Renee), Domitia Whimsiwick (played by Kaitlyn Akinpelumi) and probably Vipsania Sickle (played by Amelie Höferle). Mekyas Mulugeta and Chieloka Nwokolo, two actors that are rumored to play mentors as well. Same applies to the actor on the who is potentially portraying one of the Academy professors.

As you can see, 'Altes Stadthaus' (German for Old City Hall) was used as a filming location for Mockingjay Part 2 back in the day. Good to know that they are revisiting some of the old sets in order to make the saga appear more coherent.
